As of about midnight, May 30, 2006, we have officially started taking registrations from independent students and from learning center type facilities. An independent student is anyone who registers on their own, away from any type of school situation. These registrants could be actual students who need to participate in a cognitive enhancement program or they could be someone who has experienced some sort of mild cognitive decline due to accident, stroke or even related to age who wants to engage in activities that could enhance their daily cognitive functioning. Our enhancement program is based upon actual, peer reviewed, published research! Challenging Our Minds Weblog is officially online. Challenging Our Minds (COM) is a subscription based website offering an online, comprehensive system for the cognitive enhancement of school children. COM website will formally open to take registrations for individual subscribers in June, 2006 and will undergo its final school based pilot testing within the Yorktown, Indiana middle and elementary schools during the 2006-2007 school year.
